Flawless Performance by renowned Kathak Performer Pali Chandra

The beautiful and stylized technique of Kathak was on display on Thursday, 29th October at DUCTAC. Renowned Kathak Performer, Pali Chandra presented a flawless performance as– Navinayika. The show was presented by Gurukul, a Dubai-based performing arts academy and organized by Signature events. The evening was graced by Mrs. Deepa Jain, Head of Chancery & Consul (Protocol & Culture), Consulate General of India, Dubai. The show was well appreciated and attended by many dance enthusiasts and students of Gurukul.

About Gurukul

Gurukul is a Dubai-based performing arts academy lead by internationally acclaimed Kathak danseuse Pali Chandra and managed by its dynamic director Somna Tugnait. The only ISTD (Imperial Society Of Teachers Of Dancing, UK) certified dance academy in UAE, Gurukul provides a dance education in Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Indian Folk and Indi-Fusion styles from 2008 in its studios in Karama, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Al Tawun – Sharjah.

Students of Gurukul Dubai performed ‘Vandemataram’ – a 15 minutes production as the opening act for the evening dedicated to the Prime Minister of India visiting Dubai, MarhabaNaMo.
